AIR HANDLING UNIT  6 – Shutdown

OUTAGE TIME CHANGE - 3:30PM to 9:30PM.

UNMC’s Facilities Management and Planning has scheduled a shutdown of Wittson Hall’s Air Handling Unit 6 for Saturday, February 23, 2013.  The shutdown is necessary, so that the VFD for the air handling unit can be relocated.  The shutdown of  Air Handling Unit-6 will affect parts of floors 6, 7 and 8 (only).

End Time:     Saturday, February 23, 2013 @ 9:30pm (approximately)

Third Floor Corridor Closing and Limited Access To Service Elevator E-20

Wittson Hall, third floor corridor that leads south to Bennett Hall will close Saturday, February 16, 2013, for construction.   The corridor will be closed until Monday, March 25, 2013.  Pedestrians who would like to walk on Level 3 to Bennett Hall from Wittson Hall or vice-versa must use the exterior sidewalk along 42^nd Street.

The service elevator (E-20) and corridor will be closed to all pedestrian use on level 3 through-out the construction.   The service elevator (E-20) may be used for only large and heavy (250lbs or more) items.  All other items should use the public elevators. Use of service elevator (E-20) and corridor on level 3 must be coordinated with Mark Sjogren.  Please advise your vendors who currently use this elevator for deliveries.

Use of the dock area on level 3 will remain open through-out the construction for deliveries to Wittson Hall and McGoogan Library.

Start Time:    Saturday, February 16, 2013, @ 8:00am

End Time:     Monday, March 25, 2013 @ 6:00am (approximately)
