AIR HANDLING UNITS 5A AND 5B – SHUTDOWN
The Preventive Maintenance Shop has scheduled a shutdown of Air Handling Units 5A and 5B on Friday, January 18, 2013, from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. (approximately). The purpose of the AHU’s shutdown is so that the Preventive Maintenance Shop can conduct the quarterly equipment checks, and filter changes.
This shutdown will affect the air flow to all hoods and Bio-safety Cabinets located on the 11th and 12th floors including rooms 11726 and 11726A.
Air flow in all fume hoods and Bio-safety cabinets will be reduced and individual hoods may go into alarm.
If you have any questions, please contact Joe Clark at 559-1356. Since it is vital that everyone working in the Lied Transplant Center be aware of the shutdown, please mention it to your colleagues.
