Last year, we had a pink glove dance, a human pyramid, and Village People. This year, it’s ugly sweaters, stick-it to win-it and a scavenger hunt. Are you wondering what I’m talking about? The annual UNMC Spirit Week. It’s a week of fun activities designed to recognize you, our employees and students, for your vital contributions to UNMC. This year, we’ve planned some new activities, like the ones mentioned above, along with some traditional events, like the student broomball tournament and campus lunch on Friday. I encourage you to try and participate in at least one event this week. Even if you only have five minutes – I promise you won’t regret it. And if you just can’t pull yourself away from your office, take one minute to hop on our Facebook page. We’re giving out random prizes throughout the week – no skits (like last year) required!
For a list of all the Spirit Week activities, click here, or look below this video of skits from last year.
