I thought you’d enjoy reading an Ad Age article about their top holiday ads for 2011. Click here for the article, and be sure to look on the second page for non-retail ads. (Can anyone else totally relate to the Target “Done” commercial? I’ve totally done the ‘happy dance’ checking things off my list of to-do’s.)
And, I’m also using this blog as an excuse to add one more commercial to my Christmas Commercials post below. It replaces the Kay commercial because it’s not so cheesy, but still makes my heart melt because of the recent bundle of joy we welcomed into our family.
Enjoy these, and I look forward to more blogging next year!
I thought that with the holiday season in full swing, I’d take a trip down memory lane with some oldy but goody holiday commericals that you might remember. Feel free to post a comment below stating what holiday commercial you remember most. Enjoy!
I found another video on Creativity Online that I thought I’d share. It’s a commercial for Lipton Tea. (note: this is not an endorsement of the company, just sharing some fun creative work.)
The commercial is one component of a global brand campaign called Sip of Inspiration, just launched for Lipton Yellow Label. You can read more about the campaign in this PR Newswire press release. Go ahead. Take 2 minutes to read the release and watch the video.
So what do you think? Did the commercial deliver on the goal of the project brief? Does it tie back to the Lipton brand? What was the key take-away? Who do you suppose is the target audience? Feel free to post your comments and thoughts below.
In the meantime, I think I’ll make myself a cup of tea.
