Hi everyone. As you may have gathered, we will not have any formal campus communicator meeting this month. However, I wanted to alert you all to a training opportunity learning the basics of InDesign. Check out the campus calendar for more information and to register. I would highly recommend this for anyone that designs or lays out printed pieces like newsletters, posters, brochures or flyers.

Why am I sending out the schedule this far in advance? Four letters: B-A-B-Y. That’s right, any day now I could be on maternity leave! I promise I’ll try to post a quick entry when she’s born – it’d be a shame not to at least snap a quick picture of her in a UNMC onesie that my co-workers made specially for her 
So enough about baby for now…feel free to share this flyer with others in your area, or print it out and post it in your office. The sessions in September, October and November are set to be recorded using ECHO 360 and will be posted to the training section of the branding resources site.
You may have noticed that since Spirit Week held in December, there’s some fun graphics located around campus in our elevators and stairs. We just added graphics to two more stair wells last week (see right). So if you’re ever in Bennett or Wittson Hall, check them out!
Some of the elevator graphics are starting to show some wear, so we’ll be repairing those in the next couple of weeks, too.
All of these pieces that you see across campus are designed to build awareness of our brand position (Vital) and promise (Breakthroughs for life.); all while making it fun and personal.
