Congratulations to Jessica Borrenpohl, Morgan Meissner, Grant Robbins, Gregory Stevens, and Morgan Wahlgren! These five UNMC PA students received scholarships at the Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants (NAPA) Annual Conference on April 10, 2014 in Kearney. Each year many students from Nebraska’s two PA programs apply, and the award recipients are selected by the Scholarship Committee of NAPA following a competitive ranking.

Congratulations to all of the scholarship recipients! I am sure the funds will go far in allowing them to continue their education in becoming Physician’s Assistants. It is definitely a high demand field that needs qualified, educated students. With the health care field widening, mid level providers and practitioners will be more in demand now than they have ever been in the past.
