School of Allied Health Professions Pumpkin Carving/Painting/Decorating Contest!

It’s that time of year again…..do you have great pumpkin carving skills, do you like to decorate your pumpkin with a fun twist, or do you just want to join in on the fun? Then don’t miss out on the 2nd Annual School of Allied Health Professions Pumpkin Carving/Painting/Decorating Contest!

You can submit an entry as an individual or group. We will have a faculty/staff category and a student category.

Please RSVP to Nicki Simmons (nsimmons@unmc.edu) and let her know if you are going to submit an entry. We want to make sure to have enough room, etc…

Drop off your entry in BH 3011 by noon on Monday, October 21st. Fill out a piece of paper with your info and description of your pumpkin and place it in the box. (The entries will be anonymous until the winners are announced.)

Everyone will have the opportunity to judge all the pumpkins between noon on Monday until 11:00 am on Tuesday when the winners will be announced. The pumpkins will be on display until Wednesday morning but MUST be picked up no later than 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23rd. They’ll be tossed at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. 

Prizes will be awarded to the 1st/2nd/3rd place winners in both the Faculty/Staff & Student Category.

Please remember NO candles can be used in this contest.
