PA students receive scholarships!

During last week’s Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants (NAPA) Annual CME Conference in Kearney, five UNMC PA students each received $1,000 scholarships. Awards were given to Ashley Miller, Megan Moser, Bridget Reilly, Morgan Walgren, and the coveted NAPA Scholar award went to Elizabeth Benissan-Messan. The NAPA Scholar receives a plaque in addition to the scholarship as the candidate demonstrating the highest level of excellence both professionally and academically.

Most of our UNMC PA students attended part or all of the NAPA conference, assisting with conference responsibilities, introducing lecturers, and conducting fund-raising activities to support student travel to the National PA Conference in Washington, DC.
